There's the age old argument about whether what kids see on TV (or play in video games, yada, yada) will have an adverse effect on them - or not. Well I've long been a proponent of the YES vote. This makes my point nicely, I think.
I can't wait for Halloween!

This kid looks like a perverted little Tom Cruise also. Coincidence? I think not.
It is Risky Business going out like that...
I refuse to give my opinion on entertainment as an influence vs proper parenting as an influence again. But man, that kid looks young to be watching 2 1/2 Men or Charlie Sheen webcasts... or the news for that matter, if you want to boil it down to bad influences. Did someone say "Fox" cause I sure didn't.
I will weigh in on the argument referenced by Mrs. Hawtstuff.
My feedback on the discussion is, I think, simple: EVERYTHING a child sees has an effect on them, whether a little or a lot. That includes tv, games and, yes, parents.
I think I'll stop there, as I can get quite vociferous when debating this topic, especially when I see news reports with some deadbeat parent blaming the internet or a game on their kid being such a douche. How about taking some parental responsibility!
ADDENDUM: Kyro and Mrs. Hawtstuff's kid is a joy to be around and brings me hope for the future, so my comments are not at all ever to be construed as criticism towards their parenting. I would however point out that Kyro and his deadbeat friends (myself included) haven't had a negative effect on said kid as far as I can tell, aside from inspiring her to not follow in the footsteps of such monumental (and good looking and hyper-intelligent) titheads...
