Ironically, in a similar vein, Blackwater (one of the mercenary, er, Security Consultant groups hired by the US Government) is run by a conservative Christian who feels that they are doing God's work over there in the heathen countries.

I don't think I can say anything else here, at this moment, that wouldn't be horribly inappropriate and offensive to someone. So I'm done.

I heard more about this on the radio today, after watching the video this morning.

Apparently the gun company is changing their ways, and no longer including the scripture references on the rest of the scopes. Also, they are providing the military with a kit to remove it from the units in the field. So a slight change to manufacturing, and a wholesale order of files.
