Just needed a place to upload it so I could attach the link. I'm not sure why Blogger wouldn't just allow me to upload from my system.

if you need a url to have the pic located, my server would be a good place. The link on blogger might not persist.

Or, once you've uploaded it, you can delete the post and just keep the image URL - blogger doesn't attach the images to the posts per se.
