Now that, is a compelling reason to join up!

But now I'm managing threads on two competing message streams. At least with Facebook + Twitter, my most common apps combined both (Tweetdeck for iPhone, Mac, PC).

Now there is an extra organ if you will, a newly grown appendix of my internet identity, which I must try to figure out.

Ultimately, I'm fine with ditching Facebook because it would mean an end to all of those fucking annoying Farmville and Frontierville messages from Zynga Games.

If Google+ did one and only one thing - KILL ZYNGA GAMES - it would be a massive win for the human race.

Because I know that 40 million people are ADDICTED to Zynga bullshit, I can tell you that there is zero chance of Facebook going down.

Google+ will flash bright and short like Buzz, Wave, etc... but won't sustain. I'm going to keep using Google+ (and it'll ratchet up a bunch when I get my iPhone app for Google+) but ultimately it's doomed, the hopeless addiction of sheeple to Farmville guarantees it.

In other news, the hacked in implementation of Google+ into all other Google products means that I can't easily add the +1 button to Gnoschitt without digging into my custom site template code and figuring out why the "div" for the share buttons (see those little Gmail/Blogger/twitter/facebook/Buzz buttons at the bottom?) hasn't updated automagically.

I also heard that Google wants to spin down Blogger/Blogspot soon. I'm not sure in favor of what. Maybe it's time we get off our asses and move to a WordPress version.
