I generally try to avoid EA games as it is. They keep buying up all the little dev studios with brilliant ideas and wrecking them.

Fact.

(except for EA Sports, they have their shit in order)

EA Sports is different in several ways.

1) It never was an independent studio, it was created by EA

2) EA Sports isn't about new brilliant innovative ideas. Its about collecting the most recent team rosters and stats adding them to the latest EA game engine "Now with 50% more lens flare!!!"

3) Oh and signing exclusivity contracts with various leagues to make sure they hold their monopoly.

Yes they have their shit in order to stay the dominant sports game company for some time.

And now EA isn't charging for all the stuff, thanks to a very active on-line campaign. Of course you'll still have to pay for it somewhere, in some form, like ads bundled with the DLC, but you won't have to shell out all the cash quite yet.

DLC is for wangs.

Except for all the groovy shit from the Playstation Online Store, that stuff rocks.
