I'm still flabbergasted by the media's belief that high def downloads (as a total replacement for physical media) are going to be realizable within the next 4 or 5 years, that's patent nonsense.

I'm willing to go with 'A' and 'C,' but my soothsayer tells me that you're psychic abilities are fledgling at best.
I would bet on the outside edge of 5 years. The ISPs have to do some upgrades and figure out how they want to gouge us before high def downloads become practical. (There are a few other issues but they aren't show stoppers)
After getting used to a PVR I'm not concerned about instant gratification to watch a show. I have no problem queuing something up to watch a week later.
