Apparently, Southern Cal and Nevada have been experiencing quite a few earthquakes in the last week. I found this map interesting.
Maybe its time to start buying up land in eastern Nevada. 50 years from now, "Memorial Coast" will be the place to be. ;)

Glad my Dad has decided against buying a condo in Palm Springs, although if he's lucky it could turn into beachfront property...

Very neat. I hate to use the most over-used term of 2007, but it looks like a perfect storm is brewing in the country to our south. Economically, socially, geo-physically, geo-politically, environmentally, they look to be headed for some serious ouchy.
It's never been a better time to NOT live in the United States.
