This looks like something my Dad might even really like. It will all depend on whether or not it comes with enough codec support to literally play ANY video file. So far, seems like VLC is really the Last Video Player I've Ever Needed™, but I guess it doesn't do torrents and stuff.
Not like I have any real bandwidth in my neck of the woods anyway.

Looks reasonable, but not anythign I'll move to. I'd still need a sperate torrent client for my non-video torrents, and my current torrent manager is already all setup with the RSS video feeds I want. I have been exceptionally happy with media player classic. I've dabbled in VLC but I find it more clunky than MPC. Especially when fast forwarding.
To me looks like a great solution for people who want a dedicated video box, with the minimal amount of software installed possible. My TV-PC is used for some gaming too, so not as attractive to me.
