Yeah, there is some strange patent stuff happening right now. Creative is also going after Apple for infringement of the original "Zen" patent.

Seems like they stand a very good chance of winning if the RIM (Blackberry) case is any indication.

The only thing going against them is the fact that they are not an American company and hence may not get any preferential treatment with regard to their filing like NTP did.
