The root interview has much more detail.
I was really worried about this project sucking as much hairy man-ass as the aforementioned Transporter 2 and Revolver, but now I'm feeling better about it.
The talk 10 months ago was that Spielberg was doing this film, but I think Bay is probably a better choice.
I hope they do get some/most of the original voice actors in. Optimus, Megatron, StarScream most importantly, Shockwave and Bumblebee would be good too.
Spike: "Well, meteorite or no, it's great not having to worry about Spielberg for a change."
Prime: "I always worry about Spielberg, Spike."
