If anyone is interested, I'd be willing to give this a shot. I'm thinking that next week - weekend would be the best time for me to start it up. I'm thinking I'll shoot for next Thursday night. I'm entertaining the in-laws this weekend so it won't work until they've left.
Let me know what you guys think.
Cheers!

I can be talked into this. If Selbonaut is back in town, I bet he would be in also. Any chance of getting Ivanho to try it out? No danger of hardcoring if it is only a 7-day trial.
... now downloading ...
I'll chat with Ivan. I've been looking at the reviews out there. While it doesn't sound like the game is perfect, there are a lot of people who are touting the game as perfect for those who want a thinking man's game, which allows friends to get together as a party and enjoy a PnP Dungeons and Dragons experience. The game rewards thought over time spent. I like that.
Is anyone else out there interested in getting together for the trial? Anyone with race/class preference? I think we'll have to have a broad range and it would be best if we could get a full 6 player party going. We might have to play rock paper scissors if more than one person wants the same class. With only a week to play, I think we'll get the most out of it as a party if we all stick with one character (at least while playing together).
Any other thoughts?
There are only a few niche classes to avoid duplicating. We shouldn't have 2+ Druids, Rangers, Paladins, Wizards/Sorceres (Unless there are more than 4 or 5 people playing) but 2 or more Fighters, Clerics, Rogues, Barbarians would be good probably.
I would be happy with:
-Cleric (either Human or 1/2 Elf)
-Wizard (Elf)
-Barbarian (Half-Orc)
Normally I would be in, but the warm months have started to arrive. I don't want to get sucked in now, so I'm not going to give this shot until around October.
I know its only a 7 day trial but I could still see myself running out to buy a copy after day 1.....
