Hey all, I know it has been some time since I have posted my link of the week, so I have a few to catch up on.
Yesterday I stumbled upon a site that talked about some new weapons that the U.S. military is testing. The technology behind it is really interesting, but truly unfortunate as to its use.

I am not sure if you all are up on what Tom Cruise has been up to with his Scientology stuff, but here is a link the latest stunt from him, and the episode in question, it is the full episode so you are going to need 22 minutes to watch it, but it is well worth it.

Isaac Hayes (Chef) is also a scientologist and he has quit South Park over that episode. I watched it about a month ago and didn't think it was that bad. It does pick on some actors pretty hard (Tom Cruise) but doesn't remotely begin to bash scientology as much as South Park has hit other religons.
There is no longer a consensus that Isaac Hayes released that statement or wants to quit the show. He is in a hospital at the moment recovering from a partial stroke.
The latest buzz is that the statement was released by the whacko's at TCoS. Add to this the lunacy of Tom Cruise and his threatening to not release MI:3 and there you have it - hardcore zealotry at its finest.

I'm honestly having thoughts of buoy-cotting his MI:3 movie. It might be another Transporter 2 or Legend of Zorro anyway...
