Well is seems to be the in thing to do in Hollywood, Sequel Ver. 2.3245b.
But pay close attention to who the Director is.
I am not sure how I feel about it, many of you may know of my deep love for the first one, and who they have working on the second makes me feel a bit better, but they should just really leave well enough alone.

I definitely think that older movies like the Dark Crystal should not have sequels made. That being said I expect this director will be able to at least make a movie that I will enjoy regardless of its title. I enjoy his previous work quite a bit.
James sent me a link discussing this movie the other day. I have mixed feeling about it too. I love Gennedy, but CG Dark Crystal II with a fire creature? Doesn't sound like it has anythying to do with the movie I know and love.
