Gmail Plus Addressing

Forced to give your email address?
Want to track where things come back from?

Gmail supports plus addressing, where you can include a bit of text, a 'memo' of sorts, to help you determine where things come from. Check out the linked article - having a Gmail address is one of those gifts that just keeps on giving.

Rock on.

(and Zombie was like 135.48% better than Ozzy, yeah, those are the facts and they are undisputed)

I had heard vague things about this, but that page sums it up nicely. Very cool.

I'm also very excited that Google is now going to be supporting IMAP!!! YES!

It's not as exciting, but you can move the period around inside your gmail name. It still arrives in your mailbox and the period stays where you put it. So you can give a limited number of sites different 'periodicities' of your name and track who is spreading the love.
