Canada Day @ PM's

Posted by Unknown On 2007-06-29 4 comments

Please come out to our place Sunday night for our Canada Day celebration. We want to kick off with BBQ and beers at around 5pm, and plan to have a pit fire, maybe a game or two (or some cards) and some fireworks around midnight.

It's bring you own meat, and if you want to contribute a side dish to the cause, that would be greatly appreciated (but we should only need a couple things, so not everybody should bring - maybe post here, or on facebook if you plan to bring something).

Looking forward to seeing everybody on Sunday, let's hope we get some good weather.

well for those of you who didn't make it, you missed a great time. Jay I hope that you are turning that into an annual event because I have already booked the next day off work for next year.

The only thing that we need more of is BOOM.

Yeah, huge thanks to everybody who made it out, it was a literal *blast*. Next year, we will be asking each car to chip in a purely optional $20 at the door to fund the bigger boom as mentioned.

But in the meantime, I find myself looking for other reasons to light fireworks. Any bright ideas?

I am not really sure that there is a reason needed to do that, but here are a few ideas for starts:

Waking up
Having a good day at work (light them high)
Having a bad day at work (aim at boss)
Time it with your "oh" face

That is all that I can think of for the time being, but would love to hear other peoples ideas for reasons...

Yes indeed!
Good times were had by all. The P-M's are always great hosts, and this time was no exception.

Thanks guys!
